About Me- as a clinician
As humans...We are inherently relational beings—experts in our own lived experiences, yet often yearning for connection, safety, and understanding. My work as a therapist is grounded in an integrative relational approach, drawing from modern attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, somatic practices, gestalt, and existential theories. I also hold the developmental wisdom of Robert Kegan and the relational insights of D.W. Winnicott as central to how I understand human growth and healing. Kegan’s theory reminds me that we are constantly evolving, not just learning new things, but reshaping how we make meaning of our experiences. As we grow, we shift from being shaped by our world to shaping it with more agency and integration. Therapy, to me, is one of the few spaces where this kind of meaning-making transformation can be safely nurtured. Winnicott’s work adds another essential layer: the belief that healing happens in the presence of a “good enough” relationship—a therapeutic space that is attuned, safe, playful when needed, and always real.I believe our minds, bodies, and souls carry the stories of our lives—and with the right space, tools, and relationship, those stories can transform. Through movement, stillness, laughter, nature, music, animals, and creativity, we access deeper ways of healing. Whether I’m working with children through play therapy or walking alongside adults in talk therapy, I draw from a trauma-informed lens that is both body-aware and relationally attuned.Sessions may include mindfulness, somatic awareness, expressive modalities, sand tray work, and EMDR. I integrate attachment-based play, sensorimotor interventions, and neurobiological insight to support clients of all ages—from age 3 to 85+. Children heal through play; adults heal through connection, reflection, and the co-creation of new meaning. I take a collaborative and compassionate approach with individuals from all walks of life.
While I’ve supported a broad range of people and experiences, I’m especially passionate about working with those navigating:
•Attachment disorders
•Adoption
•Body Image
•Sexuality, intimacy, and relationship struggles
•Dissociative disorders
•Complex trauma and (c)PTSD
•Chronic illness and pain/ Terminal illness
•LGBTQ+ identities and issues
•Suicidal Ideations
•Sexual abuse/ assault
•Domestic violence
•Adults who experienced childhood neglect or abuse
In addition to traditional psychotherapy, I offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and ketamine integration sessions. These sessions are grounded in the same relational, somatic, and trauma-informed frameworks I bring to all my work. Ketamine can be a powerful catalyst for insight, emotional release, and reconnection with self, and I offer a structured, supportive space for integrating those experiences into lasting growth.I also provide unique healing environments such as equine-assisted therapy, walk-and-talk sessions, trauma-informed yoga, and animal-assisted therapy—often joined by my co-therapist Frankie, a lovable Labradoodle who brings comfort and connection to many of our sessions.Reaching out for help can be the hardest part. I strive to create a warm, accepting, and grounded environment where all parts of you are welcome. In our time together, my hope is to hold space for your process with authenticity, curiosity, and care—and maybe even share a few laughs along the way.
